Index types

There are three Objective index types:

• text
• multimodal
• image

Multimodal index

Multimodal indexes combine signals from text and images to perform multimodal search. Image data is specified in crawlable fields.

Text index

Text indexes index only string fields.

Image index

Image indexes index only image data specified in crawlable fields.
